"Take that which is coming against you, turn it around and use it to lift you up higher" are easy words to say but hard to put into practice. Life is not always fair and today I know there are some are hurting and may seem like their world has ended. A headline for a house fire read "They lost everything"? Did they really loose everything? Yes, I do use comedy to relieve stress, but I also know the importance of trusting in God. Jesus is the Best Thing that has happened to me. I hope to meet Mike Williams someday- I enjoy his comedy and his testimony. He not only makes me laugh, but he makes me think and challenges me. He Quotes max LaCado as saying; "Opportunity knocks, but tragedy kicks down the door".
Q: What do you call a sick eagle?
A: Ill-eagle
A policeman in the big city stops a man in a car with a eagle in the front seat.
"What are you doing with that eagle?" He exclaimed, "You should take it to the zoo."
The following week, the same policeman sees the same man with the eagle again in the front seat, with both of them wearing sunglasses. The policeman pulls him over.
"I thought you were going to take that eagle to the zoo!"The man replied, "I did. We had such a good time we are going to the beach this weekend!"
President Obama was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation in Arizona. He spoke for almost an hour on his future plans for increasing every Native American's present standard of living. He referred how he had signed "YES" 1,237 times for every Indian issue that came to his desk for approval. Although the President was vague on the details of his plan, he seemed most enthusiastic about his future ideas for helping his "red brothers."
At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented the President with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name -- Walking Eagle. The proud President then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.
A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they came to select the new name given to the President. They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of s**t it can no longer fly
